After finishing up with the animals at about 10:30, it's a thirty minute drive up to the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley.  We've got about an hour to spend here looking around before lunch.

Once we wrap it up at the Toy and Action Figure Museum, it should be about 11:30 and time for lunch.  We can either stop at Stevenson BBQ or find another restaurant in town.  If we don't find anything we like to eat there, we'll put lunch on hold and stop at the Bedre Chocolate Factory before we leave town.

Bedre is conveniently located two miles south of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, right off I-35, at Exit 70.  Once off the interstate, turn WEST.  We are located on the North (right) side of the road.

At a little after noon, we'll check out of Pauls Valley and head up to Oklahoma City.  Capitol tours are every hour until 3:00, so we should be in time for the 2:00 tour.
Oklahoma State Capitol Tours
Admission to the Oklahoma State Capitol is free, and tours are offered hourly from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is best to schedule your tour in advance by calling (800) 652-6552. Tours begin at the Welcome Center in the first floor rotunda.

After the capitol tour, it's on to the History Center that's across the street.  There's a streetcar that runs from this area down to bricktown that we might want to take advantage of.  We've got a couple of scavenger hunts and one of the highlighted exhibits is Oklahoma Driven: Cars, Collectors and the Birth of the Oklahoma Highway Commission which features one-of-a-kind, brass-era automobiles from the personal collections of Sooner Regional chapter members of the HCCA.  We should arrive by 4:00 and wrap it up by 5:00 when the museum closes.

Once we've learned about Oklahoma history, it's on to the Oklahoma City National Memorial.  We'll want to visit the museum before visiting the grounds as it provides explanations for the outdoor memorial.

Memorial and museum are on the former site of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, which was destroyed in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

When we're done with the memorial (museum closes at 6:00, but the memorial is open later) we'll head over to bricktown to take a tour on the water taxi.  Wristbands are good all day, they run every 10-15 minutes and the round trip tour runs 40 minutes.

Water Taxi runs a continual service like a bus. All Water Taxi Ambassadors narrate points of interest along the way. A round trip takes about 40 minutes. During our regular season, you can board a Water Taxi every 10-15 minutes at our landing on the Bricktown Riverwalk.
The dock is located below Mickey Mantle Boulevard, across the street west from the third base entrance of the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. You may purchase your all day pass from our ticket booth, which is located at street level, just above the landing.
